Welcome to the Salvation Army's High Peak Camp!

High Peak Camp
is a Christian camp operated by The Salvation Army, Intermountain Division. The facility and program are run to the standards set by the American Camping Association and the Christian Camping and Conference Association. High Peak Camp is licensed by the state of Colorado as a resident youth camp. Campers range in age from 7 to 16. Sessions vary in program theme, but all are foundationally Christian.

Our Mission
To use nature and the great outdoors as a setting to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, teach environmental awareness, encourage pro-social behavior and safely provide opportunity to every camper for fun and adventure.

Our Purpose
The overall purpose of High Peak Camp is to serve the total person, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. The aim of the camping experience is to foster within each individual a deeper understanding of our relationship to God and our fellow human beings; gain an appreciation and respect for God’s creation and humanity’s responsibility for proper stewardship; develop within each person a healthy sense of self respect and individual dignity. All of this is accomplished through an outdoor environment of creative experience in a group living situation with emphasis on positive Christian values.
